What is happening?
We are upgrading our mail server software to its latest release.
Scope
The upgrade applies to the mail servers only.
Q&A
Will my site go down when this upgrade occurs?
No, your site will have no effect on this upgrade.
How will this affect me, as a client?
You will not be able to login to your email account while the upgrade is in progress. This includes checking email from your favorite email client like Outlook or Thunderbird, or the web based email clients.
When will this upgrade take place and how long will it take?
This upgrade is scheduled to start Tuesday Mar 17th, 2009 at 11:30pm. Its maintenance window is from 11:30pm to 1:30am, but it’s only estimated to take 45 minutes to complete.
Will I lose any email while the upgrade is being done?
No, all of your email will be delivered to our backup mail server, which will hold your mail until the upgraded mail server is back online.
